Electroplated plastics – high level of shielding effectiveness
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) is a problem in the electronics industry.
Plastic housings used for electronic computing devices and connectors allow the passage of an electronic signal to interfere with the performance of electronic equipment such as radio and television receivers. EMI/RFI can be eliminated by changing to metal housings but these are often inappropriate and uneconomic.
We can, therefore, offer metallization or coating systems for electronic shielding of plastic housings.
